assemble on the floor, tape together, measure the height, height of the child, and color it

-make our own Xrays: handprints using white paint on black construction paper

-eat Scooby snacks (bones_

-make water Xylophones- this was fun, too; using 4 or 5 glasses, fill with differing amounts of water, add food coloring, use metal and wooden utensils and objects to tap the sides of the glasses; forgot to take a photo, here's the idea from Preschool Alphabet Blog:
